Lithium battery overcharge

The lithium battery overcharge in the positive and negative electrode capacity loss occurs when the reaction. The negative electrode of the lithium battery is liable to be deposited on the surface of the negative electrode, and clogging of the lithium intercalation causes the discharge efficiency to be reduced and the capacity loss. Whereas in the positive electrode, the positive-electrode overcharge occurs when the relative proportion of the positive-electrode active material is too low compared with the negative-electrode active material. Positive overcharge is due to the electrochemical inert material that destroys the electrode capacity balance loss is irreversible.
